...but I shaved my head. I cut it, and then I used Papa's beard trimmer to even it out. I saved one of the curls for you and I tied it up with a little ribbon I found. I know a lot of people keep their baby's hair after their first haircut, so I wasn't sure if you wanted to keep mine.

If we win the trial, then I'll let it grow back. If we lose, I don't want to give him the satisfaction of having my 'beautiful' hair.

I hate how I look with no hair, by the way. I'm staying in the bathroom.

And did you know that names mean things? Apparently my name means "bear". My middle name, Malachi, means "my angel". Now I'm picturing an angel bear, like a big grizzly with wings and a halo, doing normal bear stuff like fishing in a stream, or walking around the woods. I don't think I suit "bear", though, nothing about me is very bearlike. I'm more like a squirrel or something, and the word for that is Белка or 'byelka'.

I'm babbling, I know that. I'm having a very nervous day. Will someone please come and take me to see Star Trek again?

Papa says I need another hobby to keep myself busy because I can only watch the stars at night. That and I think he'd prefer I not go outside. I don't know why I need a hobby, but I don't feel like arguing about it.

So what should I do to occupy my time?

Happy Mothers Day, Mama. I'm so glad I finally found you. I love you, thank you so much for everything, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I hope, despite what's going on, we can at least make this day better for you.

AREN'T THEY THE CUTEST THINGS YOU'VE EVER SEEN??? The white one is Alana and the golden one is Ilari, and they feel like little clouds! Peppin likes them, and Marina tried to eat Alana, but she didn't seem to mind. Ilari is a bit more naughty, he keeps trying to climb me.

I'm glad to wake up to such a nice surprise, I had horrible dreams all night, and I don't really feel very well today. Papa says I have a low fever, but he'll keep an eye on it, so don't worry, Mama.

I wasn't allowed to use social sites before, so this is very neat. I liked looking for pictures to use for icons, and I ended up picking lots of monster ones. I think they're very sweet, and when I decorate my room, I think I want lots of cute monster things. I would like my room to be like a mix of lots of stuff I like, and all stuff I can touch. Papa says he'll see what he can do.

Do you know what would be cool? If the room was black with a forest at night and monsters peeking out, and the ceiling all done as stars! I think Marina would like that as well.
